WHAT STAYS MOVES - synopsis
The last year of the Dutch Cinefilm Museum.
Femke Harmsen describes amateur films from attics all over the country. All these moments were once recorded for posterity.
Fragments of the twentieth century pass before her eyes. Scraps of history mixed with scraps of memories. They evoke a fragmented picture of our collective memory.
What Stays Moves is a collection of the images that linger to haunt us.
